I was Chief Meteorologist for the NBC affiliate in Augusta, GA and was in charge of scheduling and coaching of a     team of four meteorologists.  Accomplishments include overhauling/updating our Baron Omni & VIPIR Doppler Radar graphics package to a completely different look as well as working across departments to assemble the market’s first and only full equipped storm chase vehicle.  I also worked hand in hand with our sales department for weather related sponsorship opportunities and continue to be very involved in the local community.

I was the weekday morning/noon meteorologist for the number one station in the market.  I also served as spokesperson for the station’s recycling campaign in local elementary schools.  Community is the name of the game, and I backed up that philosophy by making an average about 150 public appearances each year.

I produced and presented weather forecasts each morning and noon using the Weather Central Genesis Live system as well as Baron Radar.  Community involvement has always been key to me, so I made more than 600 community appearances including school visits, emceeing events, etc.

I was named Weathercaster of the Year by the South Carolina Broadcaster Association in 2010.  I also hold seals
